IPL 2023 Introduction:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) established the T20 cricket league known as the IPL. The IPL’s title sponsor for the 2022 and 2023 seasons is the Tata Group. IPL16 is also known as “TATA IPL 2023”. Without any doubt, IPL is the most popular cricket leagues around the world. The popularity and excitement of IPL is increasing day by day. Every season brings a lot of excitement , high voltage games and nail biting thriller contests for the fans.
IPL 2023 is the 16th season of IPL. According to official sources the first match of ipl 2023 is going to start on 31st March and the final match will be held on 28th May. 10 teams will take participate in this game, Earlier it was played by 8 teams but from 2022, 2 more teams have been added which are Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. Gujrat Titans is the defending champions. A total number of 74 games will be played in IPL 2023.
The IPL auction was held in December last year and all the franchises have prepared their squads accordingly. The tournament will be played in Double Robin Round format. Like the previous year, this year the teams divided into two groups and each team will play one game with their own group teams and will play two games with other group teams. Teams will play some games in home and some away games.
